Lindsay Bettencourt

Lindsay Bettencourt began her dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater at the age of 3 attending Valverde School of Performing Arts. Lindsay also began training in ballet at the age of 10 with Inland Pacific Ballet Academy and had the honor of dancing the lead role of Odette in IPBA’s 2019 Spring Recital performance of Swan Lake. Lindsay was also a member of the IPBA Youth America Grand Prix Ensemble which was invited to complete in the YAGP Finals in NYC. Lindsay has had the privilege of attending American Ballet Theater’s (ABT), world-renowned Summer Intensive Program in New York City, instructors including Cynthia Harvey, Sascha Radetsky, Leslie Browne, and Petrusjka Broholm. Most recently Lindsay has attended The Washington School of Ballet’s elite Professional Training Division year-long program in our nation’s capital, Washington DC, under the direction of Julie Kent, and receiving training from Xiomara Reyes and Rinat Imaev, among others. While training with TWSB, Lindsay had the amazing opportunity to perform with The Washington Ballet’s company, in their productions of The Nutcracker at the historical Warner Theater, and Swan Lake at the famous Kennedy Center in DC. Lindsay has experience teaching ballet classes at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy. She is thrilled to be back in California this year to pursue her professional dancing career and is excited to return to VSPA to teach!
