Our Approach
Valverde School of Performing Arts (VSPA) is owned and operated by the Valverde Family. VSPA was established in 2005 with the goal of creating a place where students and their families can learn about the performing arts.
It is important to us that our students receive high level instruction. All of our teachers are active students of their respective fields of instruction, and many hold degrees or are pursuing their corresponding degrees. Read more about our instructors on the Instructors Bio’s page. Learning how to Dance, Sing, Act or play a musical instrument is a life long skill that will impact the students and their family in many ways.
VSPA emphasizes the performing aspect of the art forms they offer. Part of our student’s joy is sharing their skills and talents with their friends, family and the community. VSPA produces an Annual Showcase each summer, a spring play or musical, Spring & Fall Music recitals, and a Fall Dance Drama.
In addition to these large productions, VSPA has an affiliated non-profit performing troupes Expressions, Encore, Entourage, Improv Troupe & Rock School. This troupe performs throughout the Inland Empire bringing song and dance to their community. They have performed at such locals as: the L.A. County Fair, the Festival of Winter, Village on the Green, and Knott’s Berry Farm.
The performing arts also build confidence and empower people regardless of age, race, religion or economic background. Please read our Parents and Students Testimonial’s. Have fun with the performing arts and Express Yourself!
Our Mission Statement
The Valverde School of Performing Arts is dedicated to educating all students, regardless of age or economic background, and the Inland Empire community as a whole about the performing arts through active participation and observation.
Students are treated with respect and will be given the opportunity to experience growth in the following areas: interacting with others, skill development, self-discipline, and artistic expression.
VSPA’s goal is to provide a positive learning environment that fosters improved self confidence and self-esteem through artistic expression in the performing arts.
