“Sha la la, Joseph, you’re doing fine! You and your dreamcoat, ahead of your time!” One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.
Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. The City of Fontana’s Youth Community Theater Program is excited to announce it’s next production, Alice in Wonderland, Jr.
Youth ages 7 – 18 are invited to audition. Audition registration opens July 14, 2025 at 8:00am. Space is limited. Please only sign up for one audition time slot.
What you will need for your audition:
- Auditioner should be prepared to sing 16 – 32 bars of a Disney or Musical Theater song of their choice. Sheet music provided by the auditioner is highly encouraged.
- Auditioner should wear dance/athletic attire. During the audition, Auditioners will learn a 32-count choreographed dance to be performed in front of the panel.
- Auditioner must provide a copy of headshot, resume, and application form at the time of audition.
Resume should include: any performances auditioner has been a part of, any classes (dance or vocal) the auditioner has taken, any additional special skills that are pertinent to the production.

Private Students/Parents, please speak with your instructor about which session your child will perform in. There is a $25 participation fee per student. No tickets are necessary. Students may bring 5 guests to watch them perform. Enjoy a session of private music students sharing their work and skill with a live audience.
Tuition is based on a four-week month. Five-week months will be applied to studio holidays or vacation days. You may however, make-up lessons due to studio closures. (This Excludes Private Lessons). Please schedule your makeup lesson with the Front Desk.
