Contemporary Placement Day

Is your student wanting to explore dance with the Contemporary Style?  Placement Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 14th.

Please wear:  Leotard, Leggings, Bare Feet or Lyrical Shoes, Hair in a Bun or Ponytail

Arrive early to fill out a short form and for the Dancer’s to stretch.

Jrs: 3:00-3:30pm

Youth/Teen 3:30-4:00pm

You will be notified of placement via email by June 17th.

Contemporary Definition:

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that fuses elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements
