~Here is the 2026-2027 Performance Troupe Music Audition Material for the Harmony portion. Learn all 3 parts. You will be asked to demonstrate at least 2 parts of the song selected by Mr. Frank.
Costumes, Vouchers, and Tech! Oh my!
New to VSPA? First Summer Showcase? New to the Jr. age group? Have questions and feeling overwhelmed? Come join us for an in depth discussion with Miss Lexie, former VSPA student, VSPA dance teacher, and now VSPA Director of Accounts and Operations. She will give you insight, answer questions, and help in any way possible.
OPENER/CLOSER: If your child wishes to participate in the opening & closing numbers there will be additional rehearsals for the learning of those pieces. There will also be a $55 fee to cover the cost of a show T-shirt, which will serve as their costume, and rehearsal time. You will provide Black Bottoms & Black Jazz shoes.
Fee is due APRIL 11th by 2pm.

Every show parents will need to reacquaint themselves with VSPA Volunteer protocol. Miss Lexie will lead the General Meeting and then it will be followed with smaller Break Out groups based on your stations. At the end of the meeting, volunteers will sign Volunteer Agreements. Those NOT in attendance are subject to reading the Volunteer Guides on their own time, must turn in the Volunteer Agreement to the front office/desk, and pass an online quiz based on the Volunteer Guides.

We will be closed for Memorial Day.
Tuition is based on a four-week month. Five-week months will be applied to studio holidays or vacation days. (This Excludes Private Lessons)
It is the responsibility of the student to make-up missed classes within a month from when the closure occurred. Make-up classes may not be taken in the same class in which the absence occurred. Make-up lessons are non-transferable. Due to class size limitations please call to verify availability and schedule make-up.

Wear your costume to class and come camera ready! It’s our Costume Parade/Photo Week. Teachers will spot check costumes, hair, tights, shoes, etc. Group photos will be taken by a professional photographer on site (Main Campus) and be available for purchase! You may also sign up for individual photos with the photographer.

Love theatre? Love to sing, dance, and perform? Broadway Camp is the place to be this summer at the Valverde School of Performing Arts!
Campers will study music and choreography from this year’s featured production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, while building confidence through acting, singing, and movement. Through theatre games, audition preparation, and storytelling exercises, students will develop performance skills in a fun, supportive, and creative environment.
Participants will also have the exciting opportunity to perform on the Lewis Family Playhouse stage, giving young performers a chance to experience the thrill of live theatre in a professional setting!!
Broadway Camp focuses not only on performance techniques, but also on communication, teamwork, trust, and active listening skills. Friendships formed through theatre often last a lifetime, making this camp an unforgettable summer experience for performers of all skill levels.
Exciting Camp Benefit: Camp registration includes a voucher for 50% off up to four (4) tickets to select performances at the Lewis Family Playhouse. Valid performance dates for 2026: July 18 or July 19 at 7:00 PM
